That one time Maggie ate chips.

Yesterday's weather called for a picnic, so that's exactly what we did. We packed up some dinner and headed down to Waterfront park with our guests and they loved it. We sometimes refer to Maggie as the Brad Pitt of Oceans Eleven because she is constantly eating in the background. She said "Every picture is going to be me eating!" Yep, just about.

Last weekend was the biggest event in Louisville, the Kentucky Derby. My cousin and sister flew in hours before our big party, which was a blast and their help in preparing was much appreciated! To say the party was mass chaos may be an understatement but we certainly had a lot of fun and ate WAY too much food. Thanks to all that came and put up with the craziness!

Cumberland Falls. Take 2.

We got some film back today that Kris shot during our trip to Cumberland Falls. He has really been into exploring double exposures lately and I'm in love with the shots he got.

Cumberland Falls.

This last weekend we took a much needed break and headed to Cumberland Falls to hike and just be outside. I can't stress enough how great it was just being outdoors. I am longing for Spring and warmth so badly. And of course, being with my number one guy wasn't too shabby either. He really is the best.

I'm already longing for our next getaway.
